    Flowers Appear

Flowers jut out from the roadway in defiance of everything. Life is prolific.

nice work on the asphalt, and the semi abstract quality of the "flower" nice image of life's will to continue.

You caught my meaning more beautifully than I could paint.

I should have called this painting, "Continue to Persevere," but I have a painting with that title. It is about a small beleaguered tree in an icy environment.

The "continue to persevere title", if you may recall was from the movie, Little Big Man with Dustin Hoffman. Now there is a movie well before it's time. Anyway, the generals kept telling the indian chiefs to, "continue to persevere." The indians thought the generals were crazy. Very funny. You should see it.

I am with GHXPainter about life's will to continue. Life is prolific. You see it punching up through cracks in asphalt and cement, everywhere. Makes me want to do a painting of a chromosome.

    Thanks for your kind comments.

Lima: I took a look at your work also. I have always told myself to not be envious of other's work. I have to make an exception for your work. But it is just in admiration of the artist in you. I am pleased you saw my work favorably. I am retired and paint for the joy. Thanks for our conversation.
