    Rocky Shore

It's been a while; I miss this place and the great folks here (their terrific artwork, too, of course).
Although I've done several hands-on pastels recently, time has been tight (life and work...as usual) and I've done nothing digital for a long time (barely find time to pop in here once in a great while for a quick peek at what everyone has been doing--some nice works, too!).
Well, tonight, I decided to start doddling a bit and playing with color schemes. I kind of liked what started to appear and this is what came out--not as polished or "complete" as I might wish but the clock and my "work-to-do stack kept giving me dirty looks. Several layers nearly all in crayon (a hint of air brush) and blended with knife. I had fun and hope to find time to put more work into this eventually.

Quite interesting painting in blue where the rocks may be either sparse cliffs in the sea or flying stones up in the sky ...
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
