Could you let me know which type of blender you are using and at what size? Some of the tools are very processor-intensive and will operate more slowly than the others. The basic blenders (Flat and Edge) should work pretty fast on the iPad 2, while the Smooth and Blur blenders will be a bit slower.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for your rapid answer!
It's the wet blender which, in certain circumstances is awfully slow
What is really annoying, is that the iPad 1 is faster
It seems that the pressure slowers the process more than the size of the tool.
Could there be a sort of bug with the iPad 2?
    It's really disappointing ...
    Please help me....

When we have an iPad 2 available for testing we'll look in to it but it's unlikely that there is a bug specific to that hardware.

The Pressure slider will increase the amount of work the blender is having to do, which will slow it down further.

Could you make sure you have closed all parked applications and rebooted the iPad - It's possible that something is running that is taking up processor time.

I surely have tested with iPad freshly started ( home + power etc....) and killed all other app running.
And the iPad 1 is faster than the 2 when using the wet blender
    Still don't understand what's happening....
I hope you'll be able to test it and reproduce that thing.
Thanks again and i'm still looking for resolve that annoying problem.

    Hi Andya,
    Nice to meet you!
    Great choice !
Let us know if you have lag with the wet blender.
For now I prefer to use the flat one, it works like a charm

We will be looking in to it and doing a full test as soon as we have the hardware available. If the Multithreading system has a problem in the wet blender we'll get a fix for that sorted out in the first update we do. Hardware is on order, we're just waiting for supply now!

One of the tricky things with multi-threading is that if you dont get the thread balancing optimized properly you can end up making things slower, rather than faster as the thread spawning and interactions can take longer than if it was just one thread doing everything.
We should be able to resolve this fairly quickly.
