    Sculpting in oils - Figure study 3

    Well this one turned into a little challenge for me. To stay as bold as possible I picked a big, wide oil brush and did the whole sketch with the same size and shape. I know, a bit artificial, but was a fun excercise.

    Posting in WIP as I might continue modelling and detailing this one, just to see if I can

    Comments, suggestions, criticisms always welcome!

    I like this as it is the large brush strokes work really well here

    Thanks eighty+ and Mannafig! I like it as is but I still might try refining this one. Stay tuned.

    Oh and eighty+ if that's your real face in your PPic, I'd love to try a portrait of you sometime ☺ Is there a hi-res I could use somewhere?

    Now with detail and wet blending!

    Here's a new version for your comments and feedback. Just discovering the palette knife blending.. hmm fun!
