Thread: This afternon's learning lesson

  1. This afternon's learning lesson

Jason Statham is tough to paint. But I got it figured out between a roller, a paintbrush, some ink markers and what not.

For future reference, some blending brushes and stumps would be a great addition to ArtRage ... unless I missed them someplace. LOL.

fantastic artwork. your sense of colors and value is amazing. you might try the hard wet blender preset in the palette knife tool kind of like a stump and also the blur palette knife comes in handy as well.

It doesn't look too much hard for Your astounding skills.
The blending knife has several possibilities along with what You look for. The most interesting to use are respectively the Hard (nr.1), the Wet (nr.5) and the Smooth (nr.3). Test them at different settings on various tools and You'll probably find out what You need.

  8. Yeah, I mucked around a bit with the blending knife. Just got to get used to it, LOL. I also tried the blending marker in smaller areas and that seemed to work well, too. Thanks for the pointers and kind words.
