We're happy to announce that with the release of iPad 2 the support for multithreading already built in to the 1.0.5 version of ArtRage (released a few weeks back) is working well and providing speed increases for users. The new multi-core processor coupled with the additional RAM on the new model iPad will allow users to paint more smoothly and significantly reduces problems associated with a low memory environment.

We will be releasing an update to introduce some new features and take advantage of some of the new possibilities offered by the hardware and OS update, but if up to date, your current version of ArtRage for iPad should already be benefiting from the new hardware.

We are also hard at work on a new update for ArtRage Studio and Studio Pro that introduce a number of significant new features, including the same multithreading technology currently running in ArtRage for iPad. We hope to be able to release more information about what's coming soon.
