    Eagle Head...Sort of

    This is my first try at anything "bird like" and as you can see...I cannot paint feathers...perhaps I will improve...

    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    A great start...... have you tried using a reference image while you paint? It helps a lot... just an idea for you to consider...

    very nice start, semd, I am not very good at feathers either, but with practice and a reference it gets better

    The expression of this eagle seems quite disappointed. Maybe because of the feathers ... I'm kidding. Birds are not that easy to paint and their plumage texture a quite touch challenge.
    Aniway there are already many positive news here on shape and posture, so I'm sure though You'll tame soon birds too.
