    Unhappy Feathers

    Sorry guys,
I may have mislead you. What I really would like to know is how you go about getting the detail in say head feathers in Artrage3. What brush etc you would use. When I enlarge the canvas (300%) all the tools enlarge along with so you really , well I can't seem to, can't do tiny detail. When I try to lay in the feathers working in the direction that they fall it looks contrived?

    brushes for feathers

    Jenny,

I just recently tried to paint some birds in Artrage, and I found some Sticker Spray Art Brush presets that were useful. Try these out especially the last two: Flick Line and Very Sparse Bristles.

Thanks very much for that advice, will definitly try out those sticker brushes. Love your bird by the way. Down here in Australia, esp where I live in the tropics we have totally different birds. Thanks again,
    Jenny
