    First digitally inked panel! Woo!

So here's another WIP for a page I'm working on for my webcomic. I usually do all my drawing and inking on paper and then scan in for colors. However, I finally broke down and upgraded to AR Studio which has a nice inking interface.

The below is a panel for the second page which is nearing completion. It was penciled and inked completely in Art Rage Studio. A first for me!

(They still need a bit of cleaning up, tho'.)

. . . and now here's the panel (mostly) colored. I'm using the oils for color and a LOT of blending with the knife . . .

Page should be done and posted on my site tomorrow! Yay!

Hmmn . . . Just noticed the colors are bleeding through ink layer. Fixed it in photoshop.

Very good again. Appropriate use of layers and fill areas and lines features may possibly avoid that problem in AR too I think.
Here's one of my past funny comics-like vignette experiment (I didn't use stencils for outlines though, just free-hand).

Thanks Caesar, Rowena! Thanks for the tip, Caesar. My problem is I'm more familiar with photoshop than artrage right now, so I tend to turn to what I'm familiar with. (Don't we all.) I'm sure that will change with time.

great job Mike. Glad you took the plunge to ar3. you will love it.
do you set your color inking layer's blend mode to multiply? that really helps.
