    My First 2 Paintings.

What do you guys think? I worked on this off and on for a couple of days and now I am at a loss for what it needs or does it need anything else? Please help.

The second painting was after I discovered layers and opacity.

Any thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated.

    What you could try

I had the same problem when first starting out. You might try putting people, birds, or anything that would give movement to the painting. When you work with layers you can do anything. Also you can erace any mistakes, so experiment!

They're great. Just keep going. There's no right or wrong. I think the key (for me) is to remember to paint not what you see but what you feel. And these two paintings have a good strong mood. Everything is an experiment and there are no failures :-)

If you can't think where to go, start another one. Come back later and maybe you'll have another idea.

I find any type of ...........scape is difficult to draw.
    So cannot comment ha ha
Maybe tone down the orange a bit.
But much better than my attempts
