What is the difference between stencils and stamps?

Stencils are basically pieces of 'plastic' that you sit on the canvas to prevent paint from going through as you are painting (or rulers to guide your stroke).

A stamp would be a simple shape that you imprint on to the canvas, which is slightly less flexible and doesn't let you do things like blend colour within the area of the shape you're creating. We don't have stamps per se, but we do have stickers.

Stickers in ArtRage are preconstructed images that you can either stick to the canvas manually, or spray with the Sticker Spray tool. Again, the difference between this and using a stencil is that you don't paint the shape with Stickers, the shape is preconstructed.

    Hope that helps!
