    SATCHMO!!!!!!!! YEOWZA!!!!!!!!

Really good likeness, Mr Ploos, and good job on the cello as well. That is, I mean the trumpet. I heard he was HUGE in France. So you reached into the Chunnel and pulled out an American from New Orleans. He was a huge influence on Django Reinhardt the originator of Gypsy Jazz guitar. Again we're on a similar wave length because this morning, because I was looking at guitar lessons on Gypsy Jazz, I was reading about him being influenced by Armstrong so much that he called him "his brother". And here you have done a great portrait of Louis Armstrong.

    Great portrait!

    Leeloo's Flaws Explained...

It's the title I gave the painting, plus little 'done wrongs' I noticed after I completed painting her...
Offset mouth, not centered nose and eyes, guess I' am ok though , no such thing as a perfect face!
It what keeps it interesting and unique.....Looking forward to you visiting my thread.
    Take care friend,
    Steve

It's Woody Allen, not Dustin Hoffman....
Nicely done regardless of what his name is...

Eighty, as soon as I scrolled down to Woody Allen, I did a sharp intake of breath!

He's just brilliant, and being saved into my 'Eighty's Folder' for sure! Soooo good!
