E bye gum eighty you really like to make work, if the painted layer was at the top you should have just dragged it to the bottom and she would appear again anyway.
If by chance you actually painted over the girl then the only way is what you did, however to prevent that happening again you should lock out the layer with the girl on and then you cannot accidentally paint on it.

Just talking about the tele bringing you the world to sketch. The rest was a play on the song from Cabaret with the line "Life is a cabaret old chum. . ." In your case and mine, life is a taboret, since we're re-creating it through art. See. . . not really worth the cost of a brandy. Although, me 'umor is worth every farthing ye pay for it, lad. . .
