The weather is sort of sunny, but it's not hot like the summer was. It has been drizzly on and off. Rained earlier in the week. But it's actually really pleasant. I'll take the drizzle if it means the plants are happy. Got to keep the plants happy ya know. This is all reclaimed desert and it would be quite happy to go back to being desert. But it's not looking like desert right now.
The clover is shooting up as are the other plants from the rain. Rather weird because during the hot months I could water till the cows come home and all I would get would me mold and fungus, and a lot less green. So there's something about the rain as opposed to sprinklers and hoses that triggers the wake up call. Great time to shoot photo reference on the flowers and grasses.
As to your paintings, I actually really like the bearded bloke. Nice sketch that. Free and loose yet it gets a character to it. The thicker paint stuff, well, it's sort of modern 20th century isn't it. A real contrast to the tight old Biblical scenes as well.
Go, Mr Ploos Go lad!
