So in the cross-cultural spirit of the season, it's time ta fill them stockin's and grab yer Wacom tablet an' dradle, lad. Light the fires and moon rivers all around!

Very ambitious works as Caesar said. Good compositional exercises. Pretty soon you can toboggan to the cathedral and start sketching from the pics on the walls and maybe pick up a couple commissions.

Dear ATPlus, if You wish to stay on this religious genre once You finish with Flemish & Dutch paintings, You may turn to books on Spanish masters and eventually to Italian paintings and masters. This last, should it be complete and representative enough, even if deals only with the period from 1400 (Renaissance) to 1700 (Tiepolo and Canaletto), would keep You busy on a variety of classical styles for not less than a couple of years to come ...

Cool paintings. The bike silhouette with that sky is pretty spiffy. Strong values and colors. The others are nice as well, though very different in feel.
