The illumination brightened and it's easier to see them. Looking at the painting stages it's like ol' Rembrandt was cranking up the dimmer switch on the lights in a theatrical fade in. I can almost hear the narrator saying: "Our scene opens. . ."

I don't know what you're saying you 'got lost', because it's looking really nice and atmospheric. I particularly love the lad what's snoozin' in the shadows with the dog waiting for him to wake up to give him some cornflakes -- or whatever's on the menu at the mo.
