So ye got a deal worked out with ol' Rubens. Had to appeal to his pride, and so ye got a couple soverigns out of it. Not bad for a day's work.

You know, I really like your preliminary drawings before you even go in with color. Color's great and all, but I can really appreciate your drawing skills which you've always kept honing. There's a quality to them where you seem to capture an attitude or something special about the subject. I see it now again with this here lassie.

But the paintwork is very cool as well especially since you get to hang out and share a pint with the models for a while longer.
