My dad was in the Navy for a while and was susceptible to sea sickness, but he said you acclimate after 2 days before the mast or behind it, hurling over the gunwale.

I've experienced sea sickness on short jaunts and it's one of my least favorite feelings ever. As a young lad, me family moved to LA and somehow dad decided going on an early fishing trip along the coast would be fun. It was pretty choppy. I distinctly remember throwing up into the mouth of a bass that was being reeled in by some stranger. And he might have won the pool for the biggest fish they had going -- even before the additional weight of me breakfast in the fish.

So knowing that, I foresee some salt in yer bilge.

Wonderful additions, 80! The sea sickness brings back memories of a trip I made to the White Cliffs of Dover. So long ago before the chunnel. The waves were crashing against the sides of the ship, and my equilibrium was not able to keep up, well lets just say when my feet hit land I made sure I had dramamine tablets before I traveled back across again. The view was incredible though, one I will never forget. So beautiful. I loved England. Take care.
