So MacPloos, here the BBC studied viewing habits and came up with a show that mixed Victorian attire with snooker. Thinking you might like to both watch the lassies shoot and paint them all at the same time. It's a wild crowd. Note that the lassie on the right is smoking. Scandalous lot, this.

This painting is from Milan and no, they haven't seen Caesar since the Ides of March. They said they saw him on holiday on one of the islands eating figs and lounging by the seaside.

Here's not an Italian, but a Frenchman's painting. Will be easier to see owing to the dramatic lighting.

So French. Even in such a place the composition is following the classical rules. Would find a home in the Salon.

Sounds like ye paint like a right proper punter doon the bookmaker's -- it be a gambling situation whether it was saved or not. If ye managed to save your work in progress along the way, ye win and ride home in style. If no, the mud puddles and back alleyways is yer chosen course t' home.

One of the good things if ye lose yer work, ye can be like the one-armed fisherman who held up only one arm saying, "Ach! Ye should h'ae seen the one what got away. She were THIS BIG!!!" (The joke being they can say anything aboot the size o' the prize cause they only have one end of the measure. Oh aye.)

So, I know the one ye lost were a masterpiece to put Rembrandt to shame in comparison.

GO MAN GO!!!! GO an' SAVE YOUR WORK REGULAR LIKE, MATE!!!!! Credit where Credit is due. . . Show us your Fine Art as I'm quite sure it's mighty FINE ART. Dennay be like the Buddhists wif them sand paintin's what blows away as a philosophical statement.

    Nice start, lad!

I also appreciate the comment, however bygone the memory, about how to play billiards. I never have played it but I'm sure I could get into it very easily if others were around to play it with. That's the fun of pool. . . that and the beer.

Good to see you're saving on a regular basis. Make it a habit without thinking and you'll be in the Louvre in no time.
