So do or did you play snooker as well as enjoy it on tele?

For me it's like soccer or cricket. It wasn't anything my generation played in the USA. So it's harder to appreciate for those of us who didn't feel the joy of playing.

My dad was wild for golf and he could not have been happier than when he was on the course. And sadly for me he watched it on our one black and white television in the home which meant the cowboys and gangsters and comics just had to lay low until he was done. So I can appreciate other people appreciating a game I didn't do.

There are some sports I didn't play that I enjoy though. Olympics and such. But you Brits, it was like you were from another land or something. I'm a bit jealous of your fun in the watching and the passion you all share about such things. I'm missing all the fun of yammering about it with ye.

Enjoy it lad! It's your prize for picking the right place to be born.

Oh, now I see the Chinese bloke!

So I think I know why you've been falling asleep. It's okay to paint sheep. But deenay count 'em lest ye begin to nod off.

Same goes for Henry's. That's the historical challenge. The government's been wanting to lull the people to sleep and so they had them counting all the monarchs. Richard I. . . Richard II. . . Richard III. . . Henry I. . . Henry II. . . Henry III. . . By the time ye get to VIII the whole realm will be snoring. I'm rather astonished that any artisans stayed awake long enough to finish any portraits at all.

And it is said that some slept so DEEP that they got straight through to the other side of the Earth that they could even see Chinamen. . .

Yer birthday's a comin' oop there, MacPloos! Exciting. Which one? Is this the Mr Ploos I. . .Ploos II. . . Ploos III. . . MAC PLOOS XC = 90?

    Friday is it? WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!
