    Yeah, that poor lassie pulled KP duty peelin' spuds. Must not have made up her bunk properly. Plus I think she's sort of weak at marching drills. So you best finish the painting of her before she's mustered out.

    Looks like one worth painting as well, lad. A really good start.

    OMG, in what kind of enterprise You engaged now! Pope Innocent X by Velasquez!
    One of the most stunning portrait ever by an absolute top class painter.
    Also the great Francis Bacon got inspiration from this painting and made his own version and maybe possibly got his most effective masterpiece.
    But as I used to say somewhere else, the best way to learn, get more easily an artpiece, is to start from a great master painting and reproduce it while giving Your own style, sentiment and interpretation to it. It's what You tend to do quite successfully, since You've got enough talent and personality for such a challenge. Anyway my best wishes!
