Cool. We all need a strong right hand man. And I guess you're it in this case.
Carry on MacPloos!
By the way, I don't know whether you have a large mirror anywhere near where you paint, but an old animator's trick is to pose yourself in front of a mirror to get facial expressions and body poses, hand poses, whatever -- on the fly. So you're not the only one who needs refreshing how stuff looks when you draw or paint it. The professionals do it as well.
For me, regarding anatomy, I often draw in a simple line from joint to joint to get the angles right. Then I methodically go through the different parts like the shoulder muscle, the upper arm, lower arm, hand, and fingers = Big picture first then add details. A big mistake for artists is that they start applying the crown molding on the house before building the frame structure of the whole. Needless to say you'll save yourself a lot of grief laying in the frame first to avoid putting in a ton of work and getting to the end just to see the structure is way off. . . unless you're Picasso where you can call a fart art and folks will fight over it. But you smell better than that, my friend.
Go man go!!!!!!!!!

That's why God created full length arm length formal gloves. Accessory of choice for ladies and gentlemen animators to go with your requisite Streetcar Named Desire wife beater undershirt. Gives you that Brando - heck check out those arms - look.
Go Stanley Kawalski Go!
And repeat after me and give it some feelin': "StELLLAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!. . ."

Hi. Cap Mac. Who’s the heck is Stella then. Or Am I lost in the. Undergrowth. . Ciao.
You're probably too young to remember but old folks would recognize this scene:
Wife Stella (Kim Hunter - sister to Vivian Leigh) and Stanley (Brando) broke up and he can't bear it any longer and he's outside screaming up to her. . . ya know, kinda like a poor man's Romeo and Juliet moment. . .

Hey, MacPloos. I done found another model willing ta pose for ye. A German bloke. Known to Durer. Says 'e's 93 years old back in 1521. Not sure how old that makes 'im now.
Have at!
