I am really enjoying using art rage once again.
I think you have me confused with someone else regards a dog as we use to breed Siberian Huskies but now we are down to 4 cats.

Hi. Yeah. Back to the hopfield. And hopstaind fingers. That I can remember just 1938 Me Mum and my little sister and the tin huts to sleep in and filling the pallets with straw And fires outside every hut for cooking. Ok then in the morning out to the hopfields all starting in different rows well as it was our first time Most of the people were from London and had been coming for years l think the rows were 200 yds
In length at a guess so the London people. Would be at the bottom of there row while we had gone about
20yds . So they would come up our row otherwise we would be left to far behind ok then blokes with
Baskets. Would measure what you have done and say too much stalk so watch it how long we
Were there I don’t know. But it was fun but we never went again as Hitler was on the Rampage ok

Fascinating glimpses of your earlier days, MacPloos! What an interesting memory. Now I know why you love the field workers in paintings. You have some time doing it yourself. When I was young and on the road I would take what work I could get as I traveled the rural routes just to have the experience of it. Gave me an intro to some interesting places. Good memories to ya, lad! Sounds like you were at the top of the hops!

PozDrawSki sez: How many years on a single painting? Sounds more like it was her retreat from the world. Was she waiting on Odysseus to come home so she could scare off her suitors?

    Go man go!!!!

Ramble on, my dear fellow. Fascinating glimpse into the way it was, a slice of life as it were.

PoseDrawSki sez: Right then, crack open a hops or two. Let's enjoy the fruits of yer fine labor, the fermented sweat o' yer brow, as 'twere.

    Go man go!
