Eighty, you have a very unique style. I enjoy seeing the progression.

Looks good as far as the color goes and general shapes.
There's one bit that bothers me owing to the perspective not quite working: The stair steps seem super shallow and very high -- though I don't know what the original showed.
But the real confusion is that the cask seems to be disappearing into the wall. And I'm not quite certain how the cask fits into that chair back and wall and all that business.
PoseDrawSki sez: Nothing like a good start. You're taking on some seriously challenging stuff, MacPloos, oh aye. But you're pretty darn close.
Yeah, I'm impressed.
ˇVaya con this lad in your picture's shoe horn needs a little tune up!

Capt'n Mac yes idid think of moving the barrel but knew the would be a recess under the stairs so left as is as for the stairs I calculated. And it worked 8i/8 " stairs treads. The only thing I missed out on was the door. Leading into the top room as I think as looking up at the door it's to sq I think it should slope up to the right corner as as is U might not know its a door ok as to the pic yes is hard th see as so much light and a hell of a lot of stairs. Ok.

Holy begonias! Yer a right builder, you are, lad. Going to have to get you into the guild straight off.
I can see you're using some diverse techniques -- between adding and erasing out. Very clever. That's the way a lot of illustrators done it.
PoseDrawSki sez: Sorry, there, Mr Ploos. I run off chasing me dropped marbles down that there flight of stairs -- phew. That's a lot of running. . . Yessir, but me thighs are most well developed on that there stair master. So I admit, I lost most of me marbles, but I can see from your painting they were hiding in plain sight all along.
Really a tour de force, MacPloos! Good on ye, laddie.
