    Merry Christmas

Hi all, I hope the holidays are all well and pass it as best they can with their loved ones.
Well this picture is due to the tremendous consumerism that we are undergoing at this time. I refer here in Spain, because our tradition was limited only to the three wise men and now we are influenced to buy gifts and Santa Claus on December 24 and also on January 6, so while this picture so full of evil

Spooky Javier! It is sad that it is not about what it should be about with some people. Great artwork from a great artist though.

This illustration quality is outstanding and its contentshould make us reflect!
Dear Javier, I share Your view and disgust for consumerism that makes us all homologated globally, by importing and multiplying any holiday and pretext to spend money or to look for silly and superficial amusements. Anyway there's still a deeper magic and holyness in what originally Christmas is, that we may perceive underneath. It can still make us feel born again to peace, hope and love with the simple, trustful and joyful attitude of a baby. Following the three wise men we may find the sole ultimate answer to all our questions and a light that shows all the fake and dark sides of our usual behaviours and idolatries ...
Have the best of the truly Christmas, my dear friend, with all Your family, friends and anyone You may then see around, under a different perspective because of a hopefully Christmas permanent effect!

Firstly I hope I have not offended anyone with this has, I apologize if it was so, it was not my intention.

    Thank you very much Alexandra.

Thanks dear friend, its reflection is indeed correct, and I am quite sure that without the magic of Christmas that brings us so much love and memories of loved ones and are no longer. I hope not to have caused a bad impression on me from a standpoint of what is happening in my country.

Dear Javier, no bad impression at all for me for sure. I see what You say.
You're sadly much right and we all should realize it to revert some really negative trend and fake expectation professional puppeteers try to create in our mind.
In these times more than ever, more or less anywhere, humble people pays for the mistakes (or worse) of powerful and rich ones (which are rather expected to be more responsible and provide real solidarity to have the right to rule). Infortunately the worse the situation the least humanity and mutual help, according to each one's possibility, seems to exist, in a society and an economy which progressively lost the central position of the human beings and their work as well as the target of beauty, deep excellence and quality of life with a sense of frugality giving value to anything we have or enjoy and, most of all, to people around us.
I've never been communist or socialist in my life, revolutions are not in ideologies and their hypocrisies, but I think that money and also even more rewarding form of satisfaction should go together with what we actually contribute and with the care and love we put also on what we make and manufacture, while finance and properties should rather be a tool for living and carrying out our activities in a community, the market being only a rightfully demanding part of; they shall not ask us to serve them, especially when they show to be great pretender idiots enslaving and slaves themselves through bubbles, speculations etc. to then go on with the show and comicly rating this and that with their silly and limited geocentric view while the world goes around in a much more complex way to be tamed.
Having said that, I'm, as always hopeful, because much and less apparent wheat grows together with the darnel also because of Christmas.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, dear friend.

I would have to agree with your diatribe. It's very well done artistically. Quite a sinister and diabolic looking fellow right out of Charles Dickens.
