    Messin with chalk

    Used 100% chalk and the soft knife for blending. If you have any good settings for soft knife blending you would like to share I would appreciate it.

    It's just what I stumbled into, but mostly I tend to use the knife and the eraser together for a lot of my blending. There always seem to be areas that I'm not happy with blending with the knife. I'll use the eraser set at a pressure of 2 or 3, with a wide setting (depending on how big the area is of course). Then lots of erase strokes until it "blends" down to what I want. I use that combination a lot with clouds.

    Anyway, you have done a fine job with this.

    That's a beauty Steve. I like the monochromatic look of it and the texture of the canvas coming through. It's a darn pretty piece.
