    Portrait # 14

    Hi,

Just a portrait trying to improve shading! Used several refe. for this one.

The outfit is a typical outfit for a young Northern women in Thailand in older times. I find it fascinationg that in many cultures, showing midrifts is fashionable, especially saris of India.

Sorry, hit the wrong key. Used sticker Sprya for flowers on her head.

Any advice and comments are appreciated.

Very good painting...shading and textures are really nice
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

This portrait starts showing some more volume (I'm not meaning the lady is getting fat though ) without losing in grace. I think that with some copy excercise (better on black and white images) You'll be ready for the full 3D, like the last TV sets ...
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
