    A different Richard Nixon

Nixon relax! The 37th President of the United States of America, Richard Nixon depicted as a dandy, complete with cigar. A portrait painting of Nixon in a way we have never seen him like that. A composition of 2 internet images: a sitting man in suit and the Nixon's head, composed with Photoshop and then ArtRaged. Nixon's head seems too be disproportioned compared with the body but isn't, he had a pretty large head. Full AR oil paint portrait. Original size painted: 600 x 950 mm, 150 dpi.

I watched a documentary on him not to long ago. Very interesting man and a lot of positive history on him that is never mentioned. Great painting Briex.

So well done. The proportions look good to me.

    Excellent...!!!!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

I don't know if You used also the tracing feature, but this portrait too has just perfect pos, measures and ratios and You was able to give the two parts You cited not only the right proportion, but also the same lighting and tones. Congrats!
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

  9. This looks great. I don't know about the head being to large; I've always though Nixon had a noggin all out of proportion with the rest of his body anyway, so it's probably about right

If I really had to pick a hole (and I hate to because I love this piece) then it would be that the highlight along his shoulders is a little abrupt, or possibly just a little to light. That's a small quibble though because the rest of it looks really great (which draws attention to the tiny flaw).
