Beautiful Demons (& Color Pallette)

I am so happy with how this turned out! Posted below is the final painting, three detail images, and the color pallette I used. Link to the stunning reference image on DA: http://fav.me/d2psrz2

This is with the paint tube (mostly at 50% pressure, 25% size) and knife (mostly at 50% pressure and 15% size). Canvas is 5940x3960 (the largest size my computer can handle). I had the reference photo up on a bottom layer while I squirted the colors from the paint tube, and then I cleared that layer and did the bulk of the work with the knife without the reference.

I agree with Coops...all are nice, but the first one is filled with power, and the colors just blow me away.
The tube tool can really give you some different looks, and you have done a fine job with it here.

Thanks! Yes, the title is in reference to a hell that beckons. Like the creation of art itself: luring one away from reality toward a fantasy world of beauty and torment (encapsulated by the idea of unsatisfied desire).
