Here is a new tractor drawing I am doing for my son-in-law. I will try to show my progress along the way

I've a lot of admiration for your drawings of this type. I shall also be following along here. Must be the boy in me, but I'm fascinated by these old tractors.

It's already perfect in this form, dear Steve! You've got an incredible graphical talent!

This is amazingly precise. Do you use stencils for every line?

Thank you dear friend Caesar I will take your advice for the BW version. But I will also try a painted version.

Thanks Stewynofly!! All the details are hand done. I used the ruler in ruler mode to sketch the longer spans. I used the circle stencil on the bucket lifters, and used the ovals to loosely sketch out the tires (the hardest part for me). Once it is sketched out, I free hand over all but do still use a ruler stencil for the long spans. Of course, what makes it easier is drawing directly on a video display. I use the WACOM Cintiq 12WX display.
