Saw this wonderful 1940's Fire Truck on a ride last autumn. Thought I would try painting it. I used the ink pen, pencil but mostly the blending felt tip for the paint job.

awesome. you did an amazing job on this. it has a wonderful nostalgic look. beautifully drawn and painted.
Wonderful job Steve... I love those old cars and trucks.
My first car was a 1950 Ford.
Like that truck. My father makes fire trucks for a living and my uncles and grandad were all fireman. This reminded me of my grandad. He loved old vehicles and fighting fires.![]()

Thank you Barnburner and gzairborne - I love this period - a simpler time!!
A really fine work!
I agree with You also considering some European and Italian car models of that period, even if I'm obviously not that old to see them getting out brand new from the production line ...![]()
Panta rei (everything flows)!
Looks great really nice work![]()

Great vintage vehicle in a great rendering! Nice one, steverino!
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.
