    printing problem

Who can give me hints, how to print my artRage paintings with a MAC ? Printing from ArtRage bears the problem, that the picture has to be formatted in the print preview, otherwise it would be printed in the wrong size. When I worked with Windows, there was a printing program called "art weaver" ... is there a similar program for MAC ? Your help is very much appreciated...

When you're creating a painting in ArtRage ( File -> New Painting ), be sure to set the size in inches or cm that you wish to have it print out at, as well as a reasonable DPI value. Then when you print it, you should see it printed at that size. e.g. 8 inches x 8 inches at 300dpi.

If you have created a smaller painting, it's possible to scale it up via Edit -> Rescale painting, but if you do that, you will lose some quality due to the resize.

I'd recommend creating a painting as described above, putting a coloured dot in each of the corners, then printing it as a good way to familiarise yourself with the settings without using up ink / toner. I hope this is of some help. Moving this thread to the technical support forum.
