Dear Jasmine, I doubt You would ever become less than charming.
Actually I started this reminding that when I was a kid there were many more ugly guys and weird features, so I imagined that in the Middle Age situation was even worse, like in this case. Many diseases and accidents weren't healed and people diet was impressively poor ....

Poor man, he is clearly suffering from lack of fiber in his diet. (hee hee, please forgive me dear friend-as Al says-I will take a ten minute time out)
I envy your sketching and watercolor skills my friend and it is a fine piece.

A great old gaffer you have painted Caesar, but you do realize we all will get there someday if we are lucky (and some will say I'm already at that stage of life now )

Dear Sandra, Your clinical eye immediately guessed from his wry face and unhealthy complexion tha he has got some problem chewing fibers, thus mmhmm .... evacuating.... Thank You!

Dear Jean, I'm afraid I'm not that far neither although, for genetical reasons most likely, it looks like I'm not going to loose my teeth (apart from I natural comsumption I expect) and hair (which now got salt and pepper, more and more salt I'd say, and, consequently, more like wild boar hair).

Dear Amanda, You're right! Alternatively he might be a Middle Age baker, since we use to say here, as a proverb: "the one who has bread has no teeth"! What's funny is that a scientific research of the past agreed on this and explained also why.

Sweet Caesar, I had to tease you dear friend.

It is true that better food, and many other factors made aging different in each individual.

When I was little, there were so many old people that could scare the heck out of us kids.
