Another View by a River

Hi,

Just another peaceful scene by a river. A home of simple building, peaceful pace, no rush. There are still a few places like this I do hope, nothing is more important than a family and happiness.

It is done in oil, knife and ink pen. Used several references.

Any comments and advice is appreciated.

A really placid scene of family life along a river with a golden temple (I guess) not too far away. That guy is thus what we would call "a man all home and church". Nice and relaxing!

Thanks dear Caesar for your comment. I remember certain peace growing up. I am lucky to see both sides of the world, but with "globalized", money seems to the "god" at times.

In every culture, men/women all need families and religion, a peaceful religion.

Life does seem much more honest and relaxed in that simpler mode. When people in society knew how to do other things besides work in the cities for the rich industrialists. Your picture is very serene and beautiful.

My own life of working in cities lasted all my career. The last position was in DC and in the last 3 years, I was commuting 5 hours a day.

We all need money that is why I retired at the age of 53, but whatever it is, we all need to deal with the present in our old way.
