    White pois

    Few words. I took a picture from the net and reproduced it here on one layer (the figure I mean). No tracing or color picking though, as usual.
    The original idea was to use it as a tesbed for glazes, but I eventually re-confirmed that decent and fine enough mix and blending can be obtained with the soft knife at lower pressure.

    Lot of visibly different skin tones though, dear Sandra. Maybe I should fix a local palette going on in order to to re-use the colors instead than obtaining them new everytime by direct mixing on the canvas. Thank You!

    Oh Cesare, I wouldn't change a thing-but this is only my opinion. I love to see brush strokes and the depth and texture of this piece is superb. I think it is very charming and a beautiful portrait.
