    saw crazy awesome dragon in photoshop that im trying to make my own style in artrage.

    saw this on youtube... cool.. done in photoshop... im putting my own spin on it here in artrage.... so the order of images is.. the completed photoshop image by chris scalf...
    and then what Ive been able to do with in the last few hours...
    I could use advice on how to render fire... and im getting in a bad habit of just blending... how would i make this mire realistic without just blending.. thats the way i normally cheat with real charcoal... all my work tends to be fuzzy this way cuz i always make such a mess with my charcoal

    This is a pretty neat, very intense dragon scene. I look forward to the finished work.

    Sorry that I cannot help you with your doubt but I am still learning.

    and one thing is clear, we do not need to clean our pencils here!

    almost done... i really needed to fix its teeth... its fun blending and smudging... but it really needed me t take the time and zoooom in real close and make those creepy teeth creepy.... Monday it will be done
    thnx ...

    i miss getting a charcoal-ed up... but its easier on my clothes

    hey,
    i admire chris calf as well. His Website is amazing.

    I tried the same technique on my own version and I discovered what he does is blur and sharpen!

    I use to use the blend to do everything as well
