    emerald evening

As has become a favorite procedure for me over time, I started playing with hues and shades within a limited color range and waited to see what developed. While I somewhat expected the greenish-yellows (or yellowish-greens) would lead me toward a jungle fantasy scene of sorts, that was not to be. Oil, glitter, airbrush and knife on multiple layers.

As always C&C welcome; and thanks for taking a peek...I hope you enjoy.

    jbyrjbyr1,
An emerald jewel of a place that one might visit in a dream, a treasure
of a mythical location made real, a result of the skilled creative hands
of the artist. This piece captures and captivates the imagination. A
dramatic piece that is enchantingly lush with fervor.

Thank you all so much for the kind words (and for the encouragement I've received from this terrific forum as a whole). While I've not been very active for several months in either posting or commenting (life, business and some hands-on drawing...pencil, charcoal, etc), this place has always remained close to my heart.

And Mairzie...your disclaimer is hereby noted. I, too, have a touch of Irish in my background...well, 1/2 is perhaps more than a touch. Faith and Begorrah!

I like it very much. A strangely evocative view in a marvellous color tone!
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
