I like it. And that from a composition freak who could argue for days about niky-tiky things that could make it better.

    S J Patterson,
This is exactly what I saw when I fell out of the tree that I was
climbing and landed on my head ... a 5 minute free form of pain
... and boy did I ever feel the flow! (Just kidding!)

Seriously, love the spontaneity of the artwork, much vibrant energy
abounding in this piece. Well expressed and painted!

I really like that brush setting and the colors used here. It would be great to see some sort of suggestion of form to hold interest a bit longer. That's really pretty good abstract for such short time.

It shows your inner desire for peace, despite being an army man!! Cool!

    Another emergent piece - Plane

Thanks to everyone here for your sincere encouragement.

Here is another picture I created in about 10 to 15 mins.

Alexandria, When I get chance to I will check out your suggested textile thread.
I am beginning to find that I am constantly stealing myself away from other obligations and commitments to sit alone and create pictures in ArtRage.

I can see my father shaking his head in disappointment right now.

Excellent SJ! Hey, I know what you mean. I have to draw late in the evening or in the morning, when I can steal away some time for me.

Love the layering in the first piece and the second piece background is amazing.
