    Ghana Lady

    Wrapped in red, is the color of sorrow, she is mourning for someone close to her, the leafy crown is to protect her from spirits and the brilliant red cotton cloth is called a kobene, speaks of her closeness to the deceased.
    Done in oil and knife.........ref National Geographic
