    Clash Cymbals Dancer

    Hi,

My second painting in pencil, only pencil and knife were used.

I used a picture found at a Northern Thailand site. This picture shows a man who was superb in using hand clash cymbals. Most people just hit them but this man danced, moved hands all over the places. His face showed the wonderful “in mood”, and that makes the difference in the world to me. I admire anyone who does things the best one can.

As always, any comment, advice is appreciated.

Pat - Thanks so much, this one, I can't capture the mouth very well, a long way to go. Glad you like it.

    Jasminek,
You have captured with your artistry what I think the universal
concept might be to those who not only love music but can
also "feel" the music not only in body but just as significant, in
soul. One becomes in essence part of the song, the rhythm itself.
    Excellent!

You have done a fine job of expressing the artistry in his movements.
    Outstanding.

Thanks to Mairzie and Barnburner for the kind comments.

Mairzie, it is true that some people can really feel and appreciated in the soul. That's what make the arts, including music so wonderful. I hope you get over the smell of my durian fruit.

Barn. - I don't do justice on his mouth, couldn't. If I captured his mouth too, it would have been no doubt of his enjoyment. Thanks again dear Barn.

    Jasminek,
Thanks for asking but so very odd because soon after visiting your Durian
fruit posts I think my nose may have gone on strike because it seems that
the odor sensing abilities of my girlish facial protrusion has gone NUMB!!! I
ate a Garlic (and Jalapeno pepper) sandwich last evening (my favorite!)
and I could not smell a thing.
