    First Snow, Last Mile

This is mixed media - started on canvas with oils, and airbrush. Scanned, & Finished with AR3.5. This is something I've done since I started using digital. I had many half-painted pieces that I scanned, and completed as exercises. This one was all intentional. Where does one end, and the other begin?!

Oh Skylar...so symbolic of life, and so beautifully painted. I love old things. Old houses, old cars, old clothes. Very stylish and so much quality and pride in workmanship I guess. Anyway, I love your painting.

    L Skylar Brown,
What a beautiful painting. The artwork is exceptional and hints
a love and admiration of vintage autos ... the representation
and detailing of vehicles of that era is striking. Have seen old
photos, post cards and movies that have featured models such
as this. I can almost visualize Robert Mitchum taking that wrong
turn while persuing an adversary. A wonderful piece!

Beautiful painting again Skylar, I especially love the way the sunlight hits the snow and the car. Wonderful
Sometimes...I remember better with my eyes closed

Another stunning image! Love the cool shadow colors in this. Can really feel the season. Fantastic job on the car!

I keep coming back and looking at this painting. Interesting starting in a traditional medium and finishing with AR. I may try that sometime. Like I said previously...this painting is beautiful! As all of yours.

PS...thanks for a statement you made to me in my painting about AR...it really "turned on a lightbulb" for me!

This is a great painting - one can get a chill standing and looking at the old Buick too long.
