    Old Man

I guess I'm on a portrait kick this month. After 2 pretty women, tried to challenge myself with an older man for a portrait. Somewhere between sadness and wisdom with a hint of desolation and kindness...................

The guy looks like he is starving, and the red eyes of old age and strain really give impact. So sad.

    Tonyjazz,
Yes, I do see wisdom and even more, the sadness. His eyes,
oh those eyes seem to move my very soul. He is silent but
has much to say. Then begs the question ... who then will
listen? Gripping, tender and amazing artistry here!

I agrre with Maizie that those eyes are very expressive. Those eys say a lot and could be interpreted in several ways depending on experience. Great job.

Such an expressive face and so well painted Tony. He looks wise beyond time trying to tell us all something.
Sometimes...I remember better with my eyes closed

Tony, you outdid yourself here. This image, for all that it contains and suggests and encourages thought, is exquisite. A masterpiece. Congratulations.
