    The (Bad) Dream

I like how the smoke turned out, but I wish I spent more time on the shrubs.

    namowal,
Laughing because when I first viewed this soon to be roasted, duckish
inferno I thought ... this artist might live in sweltering California and
darned if that is what you have indicated. This bad dream may be a
true and factual account of the stifling heat wave that is currently
affecting the area. Great whimsical representation and very well
    painted!

Thanks, Mairzie Doates. The next morning (after the fire dream), everyone seemed to be complaining about "how hot it was last night."

I don't know what the storyline was in the dream, but I can almost make one up. The facial expressions are great, and I like the way the shape of the bushes echos the shape of the flame. Super illustration.

This one will be loved by children and adults. Poor ducks, why are they invited to dinner quite often?
