    Playground

This is my version of the creek that ran by my cousins's place in Arkansas when we were kids.
The creek was our playground, where we would fish, swim, and explore for miles.
    Treasured memories!

This looks great barnburner, I love the sky though. The clouds are so realistic.

Very nice Mike. You bring back memories for me as a kid. I was the wonderer of the family-I would take off by myself three blocks from the house just to walk in the woods and down the creek barefooted. I loved to watch the tadpoles and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

You kept them alive also visually, dear mate, and You took us too back there and in the past to play together almost perceiving the weather, the smells, the colors and feeling the curiosity, the joy and the bright expectations we had and were happy to share with our relatives and friends in our childhood ....

Ev - Thank you. I find the sky and clouds to be fascinating, and am having fun trying to see how many different looks I can paint.

Sandy - Glad this took you down memory lane for a bit. Thank you.

Caesar - Certainly those memories are to be cherished always. Thank you.

Eighty - Many thanks...Yes, I think I was lucky also. A different place and time, where kids could explore a creek, woods, whatever, be gone all day, with the freedom and responsibility, to learn about nature, wildlife, consequences of reckless decisions,etc..
A lot of what I learned at an early age in that creek, has been valuable in my adult life.
