    At the Wharf

I finally had an idea for placing my Norman( As in the Work in Progress section)..I decided to make him into a Norman because they and the Saxons give us much of our genetic heretage....Along with the occasional Viking...Oh look there's one now quick where's my sword, before he goes and pillages someone......Jack.

Jack: this piece shows how much improvement you've reached through talent and dedication in these years.
Many details are impressive, like the grass and its reflection. Just let me add my two cents were I can, so a minor detail will not hinder the whole.

Unless this guy have lost his thumb in a battle, it should be visible when gripping the stick, over the first finger. Just close your fist in front of you and look at it.
Hands are one of the more complex human parts to draw and you never end to learn its innumerable aspects. Andrew Loomis' book about heads and hands is worth to google and keep downloaded to study once and again. My best.

Jack, it´s been great to see your return and to enjoy your great work! You´re in fine form here!
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.
