    Lightbulb Photoshop Brushes Sticker Spray

I had a question regarding using Photoshop brushes. When for example you add a Watercolor brush dab into AR to use , what determines the brushes attributes when used as a Sticker Spray? Is it simply based on the transparency of the stroke? or other factors as well. Does it take on the same attributes as the original dab or does AR somehow change it and apply its own.

Deep, yes, Just had me thinking....

    Thanks for any help.

The image used as the brush tip in the abr file is pulled out and used in place of a Sticker Sheet (without actually creating a sticker sheet) in a newly created ArtRage Sticker Spray preset. The variations for the preset seem to default to the same specific settings, regardless of how they were set in Photoshop. This means if you want to get the same effect you had in Photoshop, you'll have to fiddle around with the variations panel a little bit. For example, in the image below you'll see a stroke created using a brush in Photoshop (point 1), how it appears when it is first imported in ArtRage Studio (point 2) and how it appears after I've tweaked the variation settings for the preset (point 3).

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for, and will make a huge difference in regards to which PS brushes I choose to use in AR.

    Great help, many thanks,
    Karen
