    Hummingbird Party

After taking a snapshot of a hummingbird in flight off my back porch, I decided to try and paint one. Looked out of place by itself, so I rescued an old painting that didn't work, and came up with this.
LOL... I went to great pains to paint the wings in motion......not realizing that when I downsized them to proper size - nobody could see them...
so, I left a couple a little larger so at least a hint of the wings would show... LOL..

ANd they are such a nice, cute and sweet and well painted barney. You've done well that you painted them. Never saw one in real life, so at least yours are the closiest i could see of them this summer.

Thank you... Hopefully you will get the opportunity to see a few sometime. They are really fun to watch.

I love it. The birds are great. I'm glad you decided to keep the little birdie and then multiply!

Barnburner....I love the painting, you definatley spent a lot of time at it, when I look at it, I want to be under that tree watching them, it looks so peaceful, and how nice that you recycled an old painting...great job

Wow, the little birds are an added bonus to this painting. I like the way you painted the tree leaves as well. Nice work!
