    Bassist Acrylic vs Art Rage Final

    I posted this in the WIP section a while back -- finally finished the acrylic version (on right)

    I love them both Al, but the second acrylic with its deep rich colors really appeal to me.

    Al,the right one is winning with me, also.Lovely work.

    I like them both, but the first one has more bass soul to me. The second one feels just a touch too bright for a bass.

    They are both so very vibrant AL but the seond one really Pings out at one. Great work again

    Al, this is pretty cool result. Looking well to the images on the computer screen, they are very similar, with few differences in general. My question is, what is your personal impression, comparing the printed version with the painted canvas?

    I think I like the one on the right better. I tend to like my music clear, not lost in a shadow of a wall of sound, so the clearer painting works for me.

    You probably already know it, but I think that You may mix acrylics and pastels in reality too, should you wish to add that fine gariny effect too (or use some special acrylics medium to such purpose).
