    Color Train

A musical poem painted by Caetano Veloso. An icon of modern Brazilian music. HERE

    Color Train

    Slopes of mountains
    All colored in orange
    The grass is rose
    Honey from these eyes light
    Honey of uneven color
    The gold not so green
    Over the hills
    The silver of the train
    Moon and star
    Turquoise ring
Atoms are all dancing its dawn
    The fog shimmers
    Pomegranate colored children
    Come into the wagon
    Olive from the gray cloud
    Being left
    Behind the morning
    And the blue paper
    Wrapping the apple
    Houses so green and rose
    Passing by looking at us
    The two sides
    Of the window
    And that one so blue
    Almost non existent
    A blue there is not
A blue which is pure memory
    From somewhere
    Your black hair
    Explicit object
    Brown lips
    Or to be exact
    Açai colored lips
    And here color train
    Wise projects
    To reach the station
    And the sky so blue
    Celestial blue

So hot is in this scene that one can see the colors evaporating with the naked eyes... and one can feel the breeze of an emotional uplift... as usually... invitation into the paradise...

    Coops and Skylar, thank you.
This image is a tribute to the music of Caetano Veloso. A brilliant song, a true festival of colors, simple, human, pure poetry, exciting ... maybe the music does not have the same impact in the English language, but is worth seeing and listening.

Beautifully done, oriane! Caetano was recently in concert at La Rural, but unfortunately for me in Buenos Aires. A long way from here.
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.

Gorgeous Oriane, love how you've created the movement in this piece, the colour is wild and your trademark impasto just brilliant

    orianelima,
This "Color Train" is effervescent poetry in motion ... a multi paletted
montage of energetic transport moving forward with the bright eyed
determination of a joyous traveler who seeks only the pleasure of the
journey and the discoveries yet to be revealed. My bags are packed,
I have my ticket in hand and am about to board. Beautifully painted!
