I used the custom picker from this thread:

Art Supplies > Custom picker utility

to convert it to a PNG and loaded it in color Picker as in the attached image
(Tools->Color Options->Select custom color Picker From Disk)

    Thanks, Tone.
    I like it too!

Now if I can figure out how to make it stay and not have to load it each time.

To get the .col file into the wheel you must convert it to a .png using this great utility:
    http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums...t=color+picker

Then Tools->Color Options->Select custom color Picker From Disk. If you put the converted .png's in your user folder (Color Picker) you can just click in the current color area of the Picker to bring up a menu then select Custom Color Picker Collection and select the one you want.

    Watercolours to colour palette

    Hi

Please can you tell me how I would convert the file to a .png? When I downloaded it it came across as an .sqlite file and I've no idea how to convert to a .png.

So do you mean the colors.col file that Karen posted? It should have been a *.col file type. That may have something to do with your antivirus program, if it comes across as an sqlite file. Try changing the file type to the original file type, .col if it was a color file.

I don't suppose anyone's come up with a version of that utility that would work in Mac OS X? I tried the Linux version, but I can't even get the .tar file to expand properly

very nice set and thanks for sharing.
now if we could only get a Winsor Newton set of the colors after they have been thinned with water. then you have something that could really be valuable for watercolor painting.
